In this 3-Day, hands-on Workshop, you will learn to make a bedding ensemble including a pillow sham, a duvet cover, and a tailored bed skirt. Get ready for your summer guests and make a bedding ensemble for your guest room.
WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Hands on Bedding Workshop with Donna Cash
Work with Donna as you make a pillow sham with unique details and a zipper, a duvet cover with a zipper closure, and a tailored bed skirt. 6-8 students per workshop (or more if space allows)
The workshop lasts 3 days (your projects will be completed depending on you). The cost for a 3-day workshop is $800.00 per student. (50% non-refundable payment due before the workshop date to hold spots.)
By attending this workshop, you agree to allow Designs By Donna to take photos or video of you for marketing and promotional purposes.
Once I receive your registration, you will receive a PDF with the necessary supplies to complete your projects. This PDF also includes instructions to help you calculate yardage for your bedding ensemble.
Sessions run from 8:30-4:30 p.m. Day 3 may end slightly earlier.
SCHEDULE
DAY ONE
Arrival – Students arrive between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.
Introductions – Once everyone’s fabrics are brought inside and set up, we take a few minutes to visit and get to know one another.
Getting Started – Then it’s time to start making a duvet cover.
What to Expect on Day One – On day 1, you will make a duvet cover with a zipper closure.
Lunch Time – At 12:30 pm, we take a 1-hour break.
Quitting Time – We end the day around 4:30 – 5:00. With all the information you’ve learned, you’ll be ready for a break!
DAY TWO
What to Expect on Day Two – Day 2 will include instructions for a tailored bed skirt to create your skirt for your bedding ensemble.
Depending on you, this should be complete by the end of the day. Whew! And you will also have gotten to know the other students and begun to form new friendships.
Lunch Time – At 12:30 pm, we take a 1-hour break
Quitting Time – Expect to end the day between 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm
DAY THREE
What to Expect on Day Three – You will complete your ensemble by making a pillow sham. You will leave this workshop with your newly created custom-made bed ensemble.
Lunch Time – At 12:30 pm, we take a 1-hour break
Quitting Time – Expect to end the day no later than 4:00 pm
