WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Ripplefold panels are simple and elegant and may be at home in contemporary settings as well as traditional. In this 2-day Hands-on workshop you will learn to understand the Ripplefold system, learn to figure yardage for the different fullness percentages, how to measure for Ripplefold panels and how to understand Ripplefold track systems.
Sessions run from 8:30-4:30 p.m. Day 2 may end a little bit earlier.
By attending this workshop you agree to allow Designs By Donna to take photos or video of you for marketing and promotional purposes.
SCHEDULE
DAY ONE
Arrival – Students arrive between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.
Introductions – We take a few minutes to visit and get to know one another.
What to Expect on Day One – Day 1 will be full of information and yardage calculations and you’ll end the day with your fabric cut and ready to fabricate.
Lunch Time – At 12:30 pm we take a 1-hour break
Quitting Time – We end the day around 4:30 – 5:00. With all the information you’ve learned, you’ll be ready for a break!
DAY TWO
What to Expect on Day Two – Day 2 will be the fabrication of your samples with different types of heading styles including no stitch lines and Ripplefold to pattern.
Lunch Time – At 12:30 pm we take a 1-hour break
Quitting Time – Expect to end the day around 4:00 p.m.
