Donna has done two jobs for us, both involving window treatments. The second time we brought her in was after a house fire. Her first draperies survived the fire and we wanted to plan the color scheme of the house around them. She was able to coordinate color and style with the new drapes, in spite of the fact that the rebuilt house was totally reconfigured.

Donna brought samples to me which worked beautifully. (I have been lucky enough to see her workroom which, for a seamstress, is like a candy shop.) She is friendly, professional, very clear, accommodating, and very creative. And her workmanship is meticulous. She adds the details to her work which show her enjoyment in the creative process.

Would I use her again? I wouldn’t use anyone else.

Designs by Donna has done all the custom draperies, upholstery, shower treatments, special projects, and linens for my entire home. Five years ago when moving to Atlanta I started over completely with interiors and the ONLY person/company that I have used is Designs by Donna. Perfection is the term that comes to mind!

Working with Donna was a great experience. Just meeting her the first time I knew she was perfect for the job. There was always communication about what was going on and when we could expect for the drapes to be done. And to add to that the drapes turned out perfect! Would definitely give Donna a good recommendation.

I was directed to Donna as a person who could fulfill a difficult requirement when no one else could. And they were RIGHT! We needed a large, motorized, arched, roman shade that ran on battery because there was no AC available. My usual workrooms could do one or two of those things but not all requirements together.

Donna handled the request professionally and made sure everything would work before she quoted it, including research with the motorization vendor. She did a SKYPE training session on how to install it and the shade had special details that made installation easy and the results look perfect!
