Have you ever struggled with inserting a zipper into your project?
Donna Cash has too and has developed techniques for inserting zippers next to welt cord, decorative braid cord, brush fringe using both invisible or regular zippers. Apply the new skills as you design and fabricate pillows with zipper closures to complete the workshop.
Stay for optional day three and learn advanced zipper techniques for an additional $200.00.

Workshop with Donna Cash: Hands-on zipper techniques for pillows, duvets, & more
- Work with Donna Cash as you learn zipper techniques for pillows
- Once you master these techniques, you will design and fabricate pillows and use your new skills to insert zippers into your pillows, duvet covers, and more
- Limited to 6 students per workshop
- Workshop duration is 2 days; your projects will be completed depending on you
- The cost for a 2-day workshop is $400.00 per student. $300.00 deposit to hold your space, the remaining balance is due 2 weeks prior to class start date
- Sessions run from 8:30am – 4:30pm
By attending this workshop you agree to allow Designs By Donna to take photos or video of you for marketing and promotional purposes.
SCHEDULE
Arrival – Students arrive between 8:00 am and 8:30 am.
Introductions – Once everyone’s fabrics are brought inside and set up, we take a few minutes to visit and get to know one another.
Getting Started – Then it’s time to start getting to work on your zippers.
What to Expect on Day One – You will learn Donna’s method for inserting multiple zipper applications. Next, you will practice these methods as Donna helps you along the way.
Lunch Time – At 12:30 pm we take a 1-hour break
Quitting Time – We end the day around 4:30 – 5:00. With all the information you’ve learned, you’ll be ready for a break!
Starts at 8:30a
What to Expect on Day Two – You will practice your new skills as you learn to make and fabricate different pillow styles. By the end of this course, you will be able to use these techniques for other items such as duvet covers and cushions.
Lunch Time – At 12:30 pm we take a 1-hour break
Quitting Time – Expect to end the day between 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm

What to Expect on Optional Day Three –Take your zipper skills to the next level. You will learn to design and fabricate advanced zipper techniques for pillows and more. Learn to think outside the box like Donna Cash does to create unique zipper techniques for one of a kind pillow creations.
The cost of day three is $200.00. You must have completed day one and day two in order to join in for the advanced day three.
Lunch Time – At 12:30 pm we take a 1-hour break
Quitting Time – Expect to end the day no later than 4:00 pm
