2018 AWARD
On March 28, 2018, Donna Cash of Designs by Donna, was the recipient of the prestigious VISION Design and Workroom Award presented at International Window Coverings Expo in Tampa, Florida.
The VISION Design and Workroom Competition presented and sponsored by Window Fashion VISION Magazine, recognizes the industry’s best designs and fabrications in a variety of categories. This one-of-a-kind international competition is the “Academy Awards” of the window coverings industry.
Donna was honored with the First Place Award in the category of Bedding and Pillows.
EXTREME MAKEOVER HOME EDITION
Donna’s experience helping with Extreme Makeover Home Edition
The television show, Extreme Makeover Home Edition was in Madison, GA in 2014.
Donna Cash along with other Widow Coverings Association of America (WCAA) Atlanta chapter members shared their talents and abilities to create pillows, bedding ensembles, cushions, and window treatments as they worked with Ty Pennington and Michael Maloney, the show designers.
Donna and the WCAA members collaborated with the designers on a whirlwind week of excitement while the entire home was built in just 7 days. The fast-paced experience took the efforts of thousands and thousands of volunteers.
“I’m so thankful for the experience which created memories that will last a lifetime.” The show was aired on October 9th, 2014.
